Templar tank is a very strong, yet underestimated tank in ESO. When built, a Templar tank is able to create large health damage shields, self-healing, and maintenance. Whereas they may not bring as much regarding group buffs, their survivability and balance between magicka and stamina skills makes them great at self maintaining while tanking.
Templars can be a bit tricky to balance as they tend to be a resource hog on the magicka side but attributes and enchants can help with that to make them viable and enjoyable
